Wingman was founded by Steve Dubane and Rich Kagan in 2003 utilizing their expertise forged in the highly competitive broadcast media world.
To quote Rich, “Steve and I learned what it took to create successful advertising the hard way in the cut throat business of 100% commission media sales. We fondly remember it as ‘Starvation University.’ We were new business development guys which meant that in order to make money we had to go out and find new clients and keep them on the air. The only way we could do that was to make them money! So we learned very quickly how to create ads and marketing strategies that worked and kept our clients coming back.”
After receiving their doctorates from “Starvation U” and building a dedicated (and very satisfied) client base, Steve and Rich left their cushy media jobs to help clients with their advertising and marketing needs full time.
In Wingman, Steve and Rich created a unique advertising agency that merges Retail Advertising with Direct Response tracking and analytics. ROI is the bottom line for every campaign Wingman engages with. Every campaign must begin with a specific business objective and outline quantifiable metrics for success.
Today, the seeds of Steve and Rich’s partnership have grown to 30-plus full-time employees and with a strong analytics platform their business has expanded to full TV, Radio, Out of Home, Print and Interactive capabilities, providing clients with a broad range of resources to drive retail results.
And yes, our mothers are quite proud and our clients are getting richer by the day.
